Blanton Construction is very pleased to be building for Popeyes again as they continue to expand their brand. Last year we built the Popeyes at Hwy 79 Crossing in St. Peters, within the last few weeks we just completed a new store for them in Granite City, IL and this week we are setting our construction trailer and beginning site work on this latest Popeyes. The latest location is at 6744 Keaton Corporate Parkway in O’Fallon, MO. Thanks again to everyone at Popeyes for putting your trust in us! We wish you continued success as you continue to expand your brand in the Midwest and beyond.

Blanton Construction just completed this Popeyes restaurant in Granite City, IL. When Blanton crews left yesterday after the completion of the landscaping and any final walk-thru items, restaurant staff training was in process. The soft opening should be sometime next week with the official Grand Opening to follow. As you travel around the country, you may have noticed that the Popeyes brand is expanding. We were delighted to be chosen to build another store for them and it appears that the next Popeyes that Blanton will have the pleasure of building will be in O’Fallon, MO on Keeton Corporate Parkway. Best wishes to Popeyes for abundant success and we are grateful to have been chosen as your builder!
Popeyes in Granite City, IL
The new Popeyes in Granite City, IL will soon be complete. Soon the public will be able to start “loving that chicken from Popeyes” as the jingle goes. As I receive information regarding a soft opening and or Grand Opening, I will pass that along here on our website and on social media as well. We wouldn’t want anyone to have to wait a day longer than necessary to be able to get their hands on some of the delicious food that Popeyes serves.
COVID-19 SOLUTIONS FOR BUSINESS – BLANTON CAN HELP
Finding the solution to protect the health, wellness, and safety of the public as well as your employees is now on the top of every facility manger & business owners/ manager’s “To Do” list. COVID-19 continues to spread throughout the country and every business hoping to re-open their doors and keep them open will need to quickly implement PPS- people protection solutions.
The public has become hyperaware of every surface they may touch. Employees have increased expectations of their employers, to go “above & beyond” with safety measures so they can feel comfortable working with the public. A “quick fix” with plexi-glass at a cash register, pay station or registration desk in an office isn’t likely a long-term solution to the social distancing issue. The way we interact with people in a public setting has forever been changed. Social distancing, increased cleanliness & visible safety precautions showing consideration & care are essential in our new environment.
During our 50 years in business, we’ve worked for many well know brands such as QuikTrip, Mobil on the Run, Maggiano’s, White Castle, Walgreens, Westfield Shopping Towns, Saks Fifth Avenue, Fifth Third Bank, Midwest Bank Center and many, many more. In fact, a large percentage of our work has come from repeat business of very well-known brands. Why? Because of the level of ongoing support and advice we can offer to clients as their businesses evolve. Everyone’s business is going to change due to COVID-19 in some regard. What will your response be? What will it look like in terms of design, implementation, and functionality? You likely have many questions. We would like to help you devise the best solution for your business facility.
Oberweis is complete & we think the lighting package looks great!
We think the lighting package on this new concept store for Oberweis, That Burger Joint and Woodgrain Pizzeria looks very nice. The center vertical section that you see in this photo changes periodically to promote all of the three different eateries. That along with the “up-lighting” and other accent lights really make this new concept store stand apart from other fast food and fast casual dining in the area. If you are near this new store which is on very near that is just to the south of Hwy 70 on Hwy K in O’Fallon, Missouri, we hope that you will check out this new look for yourself. Stay tuned as we should learn next week what the plan is for opening during the COVID-19 virus and all of the regulations that are currently in place.
Oberweis concept very near completion
This is the new concept store that Blanton Construction is building for Oberweis Dairy, That Burger Joint and Woodgrain Neapolitan Pizzeria on Hwy. K in O’Fallon, MO. As you can see, it is very close to completion. The parking lot is now finished and by the end of the week the landscaping will be installed. We are so pleased to have been selected for this new concept store and hope that it will be wildly successful! Yes, everyone is currently operating in an environment where people cannot go to restaurants due to the COVID-19 virus, & instead can only do curbside pick-up or drive-thru, however we hope that will change within the next few weeks so that this awesome new store can have a real Grand Opening! Once it’s safe to get out and about and enter stores & dine in restaurants like we once did, our hope is that everyone will be eager to get out of their homes & will stop to check out these three food service providers all under the same roof! Thank you again Oberweis Dairy for choosing Blanton Construction to roll out this new concept in stores! We wish you abundant success!

Just published in the Construction News Review
Generally speaking, only people in the construction industry read their copy of Construction News Review (The CNR) with regularity but we are so thrilled that the CNR chose to cover our work at T-Rex Geospatial Space in the Historic Lammert Building in downtown St. Louis, MO. This completely wood-framed building is more than 120 years old and had fallen into disrepair and it was questionable if anyone would ever see the great value that it held in history to the City and to find someone willing to take a chance on the project. Blanton Construction was thrilled to be chosen as the contractor for the this work that was imagined and designed by Remiger Design. Blanton has worked in this building before just a couple of years ago, at that time on the 6th floor and this photo shows the work we just wrapped up on the 4th floor. For those of us at Blanton it was great to see the former beauty of this building restored. The gorgeous wood ceilings and wooden support beams were brought back to life to live again, but this time inside of a modern architectural design. It was the “ultimate in recycling” as we tore off old drywall and found the beauty within and brought it to life.
