Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO is expanding once again & developing based on the needs of its growing student population. The new facility is located prominently on First Capitol Drive across from the Schnucks Market in the Lindenwood Commons development. The Lindenwood Library and Academic Resources Center totals approx. 100,000 square feet, distributed over 4 levels. A relocated library, classroom tower, study space, media department which will include a 100-seat cinema/multi-use space and faculty office will all be housed here along with a lovely two story lobby featuring one-of-a-kind art glass windows and a Starbucks coffee shop.
The architectural style consisting of brick, stone & shingle exterior materials is consistent with the campus building work performed over the past 20 years by Blanton Construction on the Lindenwood campus. The prominent architectural feature on this new building is an abstract “Grove of Linden Trees” depicted in multi-tone glass. Both those inside the new building and those passing by on First Capitol Drive in St. Charles will be able to enjoy this art glass.
Lindenwood University has flourished over the past two decades & during this time Blanton Construction has functioned as Construction Manager for the following projects:
- The Spellman Campus Center
