Cantina Laredo is slated to open in the fall of 2014 and work by Blanton Construction is well underway. This Dallas based chain has more than 33 locations across the country. It’s sure to be a hit with its fresh “Mexico City Cuisine” (as one of the Cantina Laredo tag lines promotes) along with its geographically desirable location in the heart of Clayton in the Centene building at 7710 Forsyth Ave.
The location will offer wonderful views either from the curved glass windows inside the large 6,200 sq. feet of space inside the Centene building or from the additional seating on the patio which is being constructed with some special features such as a retractable soft roof, overhead heating and a fire pit which will provide warmth and ambiance for those who like to dine outdoors the ability to do so even as chilly days.

"We are moved in and pleased to welcome the students," said Patti Williams, SCC dean of nursing and allied health. "Not only will the center provide more opportunities for hands-on learning and better access to equipment and technology found in the field, it also will expand the capacity of the program so more students can enroll."
