The highly anticipated new QuikTrip Travel Center that Blanton Construction built in Rolla, MO opened to the public on 6-16-2022. People who are familiar with QuikTrip were waiting for the store to open at 6 am so they could take part in the Grand Opening of this great, new location. Featuring 16 fuel pumps with gasoline & automotive diesel as well as 8 separate pumps for truck diesel, this new QuikTrip Travel Center is sure to be popular with those traveling. Besides fueling the gas or diesel tank, you can also count on this location to be the answer to your hunger pangs & thirst. This convenience store features the very popular QuikTrip Kitchen where you can walk up & place your order, order via the handy kiosk inside the store or if you have the QT App, then you can place your food order via the app & pay so that all that’s left to do is pick up your food off of a warming shelf. QuikTrip has become well known for its variety of hot food items in addition to a wide array of cold sandwiches, yogurts, fresh fruit & a huge selection of drinks.

We were delighted to be selected again to build for QuikTrip Corporation. This time we are bringing the fabulous QuikTrip brand to Rolla, MO. From the number of calls that have been received in our office asking, “when will this location open?”, we feel that this is going to be a very popular stop when traveling. Of course, we will be posting more here & on social media as the project heads into the final turn & we are at that time allowed to announce the Grand Opening Date selected by QuikTrip.

An exceptionally warm fall & early winter made for great progress on the new QuikTrip Travel Center we are constructing in Rolla, MO. This will be the first QuikTrip in the Rolla area & should be a welcome addition to those who travel on Hwy 55 in this area of Missouri. Shown here is a QuikTrip Convenience Store & Fuel Center in St. Peters, MO. This project was a “complete scrape & rebuild”, which means we took down the store, pumps, fuel canopy and then dug out the old fuel tanks. Everything on this site is fresh & new. The only thing that remained the same was the address. We have had the great pleasure of building many of these units for the QuikTrip Corporation over the years. It’s such a great feeling knowing that our customers have a choice of who they could choose from a large group of GC’s in any given area, but a great brand like QuikTrip returns to us again & again. We are nearing completion on this very unique looking building we have been constructing for N’Bliss Cannabis Medical Marijuana Dispensary. As you can see by this photo, there are a couple of glass panels to still be installed & rack removed from the exterior. Inside we have a few finish carpentry items & the installation of some display cases. Everyone here at Blanton was eager to see this building completed from the moment we saw the architectural renderings. The Medical Marijuana industry has certainly taken off in the last year to 18 months and we are delighted to be finishing another one of these facilities.

  It’s official!  The QuikTrip that we did the “full scrape & rebuild” on in Eureka, MO is NOW OPEN as of APRIL 22, 2021.
